POSITION:            Direct Support Staff

                                    Part-Time

 

DUTIES:                Supports people based on information gained through conversation with the person and their plan of support. Provides individualized training skills based on the individual’s goals. Supports people to experience a variety of community options and settings. Provides supports to people in areas of personal care and daily living skills, to enhance their independence. Ensures the health, safety and accountability of people being supported.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

                             High School Diploma

                                    Must be able to lift 50 pounds

                                    Must have a South Carolina driver’s license with a good driving record

Must attend one week of classroom training

 

RATE OF PAY:

                             $8.69 per hour
